How to Use Your Smile Pay Gift Certificate

Once you have your gift certificate, you will need to register it to your Smile Pay account. After registration, the value will be converted into Smile Cash, which you can then use for your purchases.

  • Auction: Utilize your Smile Cash on the Auction online marketplace.
  • Smile Pay Affiliated Stores: Use your balance at various other merchants that accept Smile Pay.

Important Redemption Notes

  • You must register the gift certificate online within its validity period.
  • If you are not yet a Smile Pay or Gmarket member, you will need to sign up first.
  • Once registered and converted to Smile Cash, the gift certificate cannot be cancelled.
  • The recharged Smile Cash can be viewed in your Gmarket account under MYG > My Smile Cash, or directly within the Smile Pay app.

Validity and Extension

This gift certificate has a validity period of 5 years from its initial issuance date. You may request an extension for unused vouchers up to one day before the expiration date by contacting the Galaxia Moneytree Customer Center. Extensions are granted in 93-day increments, up to a maximum of 5 years from the original issuance.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • Before initial expiration: Unused vouchers may be cancelled and refunded by the purchaser through Soda Gift Customer Center. Used vouchers are not eligible for cancellation or refund.
  • After initial expiration: The recipient can request a refund of 90% of the purchase price by contacting the Galaxia Moneytree Customer Center.
  • Refund requests for expired vouchers are only possible within 5 years from the initial issuance date.

Redemption Instructions

1. Register the gift certificate online within the validity period by visiting: https://scweb.mysmilepay.com/ko/Cash/GiftCard/Registration
2. If you are not a Smile Pay member, sign up for Smile Pay and Gmarket first.
3. The gift certificate value will be converted to Smile Cash in your account.
4. Check your recharged Smile Cash in Gmarket > MYG > My Smile Cash or via the Smile Pay app.
5. Use your Smile Cash at Gmarket, Auction, and other Smile Pay affiliated stores.
